Spring Stampscapes with Kim - $20

Kim's ushering in Spring with a large Stampscapes piece!  Using hues of green and blues, we'll create a beautiful serene scene and then add our own Spring flowers to finish it off.  This large Stampscapes piece is perfect for display on a mantle, framed or even given to a friend with a lovely sentiment. 

This class will be offered at KEP Creations, 284 Beulah Street, Whitman on Wednesday, March 14th from 7-9PM.

The following supplies will be used in class.  You do not need to bring these with you if you don't own any:

Distress Inks:  Bundled Sage, Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy

April classes with Donna.

Hi ladies!  Well, we've been having some really fun classes so far this year and I've got more planned.  So let's give you a look at what's coming in April.   My first class is Thursday, April 5th from 7 to 9 pm at the Whitman Community Center (WCC) and it's a $20.00 class.

I've worked on two really fun cards -- one is an unusual folded card that forms a birdhouse.  And, wouldn't you know, there are those Memory Box dies again!  If you've bought them, you gotta use them.  I think I've used these dies (Reedbird and Woodland Branch) in about six different cards so far and here's yet another one!  The other card we're doing is such a fun one and can be used (or not) as a gift certificate card.  For those coffee-holics -- here comes Art Impressions (what a fun card to do!).

You can see the flap on the coffee mug -- it doesn't have to be used this way, but you will decide when the time comes.  I've already started taking sign-ups for this class, so click on the PayPal button below or email me at deedee.maligno@gmail.com.

Now, I know I have a class scheduled for Thursday, April 12th from 7 to 9 pm, but I'm still working on that one.  Stay tuned!

On to Saturday, April 21st from 1 to 3 pm.  This class will be held at the WCC as well and it will be a $22.00 class.  I've done the same card, but in a feminine and masculine version.  I promise you will love this class.  I learned this technique recently and HAD to introduce it to my favorite ladies.  I've taken a lot of photos so that you can get a clear idea of what it's all about.  Here's the feminine version:

This is your card all opened up -- surprise!!  Isn't this neat?  It's called a Triple Easel Card.  Now here's the side view...

Yep!  You will learn how to make this card and probably keep on making them for whatever the occasion.  This will be great for Mother's Day or Wedding or Valentine's Day.  

Are you ready for the male version?  If you like Steampunk -- this card has that "feel" to it and you'll be having fun putting "stuff" on this card.

NEW DATE!

Hi all.  Well we have a new date for the 3 cards using 4 different Memory Box dies (picture below).  This will be a fun class as you'll be using beading and learn how to turn your negatives into positive images.  We moved the date up by one day so please mark your datebooks that this class will be held on Friday, March 16th from 7-9 at the Whitman Community Center.

February Copic Colorings Class - $20

This month, we are working on Flourescent fish!  With a few different ways to blend flourescents as well as enhance a stamped image, we'll be focusing on these adorable fish from Inkadinkado!

The colors we will use this month are:  FYR1, FBG2, FYG2, FV2, FY1, FB2, FRV1, BV11, E31, YR16, 0, Multi Liner Black in .1 and .7

Class will be held at the Whitman Community Center on February 16th from 7-9PM.  There's still spaces in class.  Pay via Paypal, or contact Kim.

Even if you are a beginner Copic user, these techniques will show you just how versatile Copics can be.  Dig out those precious markers and join us!  We'd love to have you!

Unusual folds with Donna

I'm on a roll!  This should complete all my class offerings at the Whitman Community Center for the month of March.

I was blogging one day and came across this really cute adornment on a card that I thought I'd pass along to you lovely ladies in a class.  It's got some unusual folds that are fun to do and will fit any occasion.  The other card (the red one) was just an unusual way to create a standard A2 card.

This class will be held on Friday, March 23rd from 7-9 and the cost is $20.00

Below is a side-view picture of the card on the left to give you an idea of what we'll be doing.

This will be a really fun class -- it will be fun to just "shake it up" with unusual folds.  Hope to see you there!

March 17th class with Donna

Hey there!  I was looking thru my previous classes and realized that due to extenuating circumstances, we never actually got to hold the class showing the Memory Box Reedbird, Woodland Branch, Madera Corner and Seville Buckle (3 cards - 4 dies).  So, in order to save my brain any further damage in thinking too much, I thought I'd just offer this class again for Saturday, March 17th from 1-3pm.  I know, I know, there's NOTHING green in any of these cards!  We'll "think green" instead. Okay?

Here are the cards once again and the class price is $22.00.
