I'm here!...

Hey ladies, it's been hectic lately trying to ramp up for West Springfield and I almost forgot to post my June classes.  (Suzanne Gray is probably laughing her head off at the "Queen of I-forgot"!)  I've only posted two classes so far for June because then I'll be going into full swing for CHA in Chicago with Craft-Dee BowZ.  More on that later.

My first class for June is Thursday, June 7th at the Whitman Community Center from 7-9pm for $20.  I have to tell you I've fallen in love with Washi Tape (it has several other names depending on what company produces it).  This colorful, designer tape is so easy to use and is pretty much fool-proof because of the type of tack they use.  Trust me on this one!  So, here are the two cards that you will be doing.

Yes, you'll even learn how to make flowers with this tape!  On this second card I will teach you a technique about angling the tape and using other elements with it.

Copic Colorings with Kim - $20

Want to play with your Copic markers? Interested in learning a few techniques with these fabulous and unique markers? Kim's Copic Colorings class meets on the third Thursday of every month and she's always got a few cards, some inspirations and fun up her sleeve! 

This month we are focusing on coloring on WOOD!!

Copic Colorings is held at WCC (Whitman Community Center) in Stop n Shop on Rte 18 in Whitman on Thursday, May 17th. Class is held from 7-9PM.

The following colors are those that I used.  You are welcome to choose any Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet and Dark Violet you'd like.  :-)  R46, RV55, RV91, YR16, YR68, Y08, YG09, B01, B04, BV13, BV17, E30, 0  I also used black multiliner.  Any size will work although .1 or larger would be best.

Shadow Box with Kim - $25

Ready for another Steampunk inspired class?  This one is a raised shadowbox!  With some foil birds, Panpastels, gears, barbed wire and MORE!  Come on into the studio and see what you can make.

This class will be on two dates, one in May and one in June.  Both will be at KEP Creations, 284 Beulah St, Whitman.

Picture Frame & Shadow Box cards with Donna

Hey everyone!  Hope to see you all on Sunday - we're gonna have fun with Make & Takes, food and catalog sales.  Don't miss it!

Here's the last class I'm doing in May and it's scheduled for Wednesday, the 16th from 7pm to 9pm and is $20.  This is a guaranteed mind bender when you see how easy these cards are to make.  No, really, they ARE easy!

The first one is a Shadow Box card that will pop together in 10 minutes depending on how fast you stamp (ha! ha!).  Okay, 20 minutes - I'll be realistic.  Here it is:

This box folds flat for mailing and after opening to the box position, will stand on its own.

This next card was more fun than a barrel of monkeys, er, pool of fish.  It incorporates Glitter Ritz and Mudd Puddles (the latest rage) and is one of those really fun cards to "build".  

Yes, this is actually a card!  And when you see how easy the frame is to make, you'll even amaze yourself.  This is a don't-miss class.
